Coaching for parents and families

You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, followed the “experts” on social media. So why is parenting still hard?
Coaching can help. Sarah uses her own experience as a parent (the good, the bad, and the ugly) as well as the skills she learned while earning a masters degree in positive psychology and coaching psychology, to empower parents to live in alignment with their values and the overall goals they have for their family. With a particular interest in parental wellbeing, Sarah supports parents to create conditions for their children to flourish, while also thriving themselves.

“Sarah’s blend of heart and head is a rare find and has helped me navigate some tricky troublespots. With her mentorship I’ve been able to dig deep and not just solve the problem at hand but also get to the roots of issues that have held me back for years. I come away from our time together feeling seen, powerful, and hopeful. I recommend her 100%” ~ Corinne T.

Coaching for teens and young adults

Many teenagers and young adults don’t want to hear lectures or advice from their parents, so Sarah also offers coaching to young people. She empowers them to take charge of their own future and to voluntarily choose actions in the present that they come to recognize as important for their own goals.

“5 stars are not enough for Sarah and the support she provided our family. Because of her gentle and compassionate guidance, my teen son did a 180, from hopelessness to happiness. He is now thriving at school, and has new found confidence for life.
During the year plus of distance learning, my son grew less and less interested in school. He stopped attending (Zoom on / Camera off) and refused to do any assignments. Falling further and further behind, we all began to give up hope. After just a few weekly sessions with Sarah, his attitude shifted in so many ways. She helped him voice and abandon his unhealthy view of himself. They identified his goals and outlined a plan of how to get there. Thanks to her encouragement and coaching, he now looks forward to school days, feels competent, and is tracking along with classwork (without my interference). Last semester he achieved the Athletic Scholar Award. We couldn’t be more grateful! ” – Crista R.

Mental performance and wellbeing coaching for athletes

Athletes are humans first… with human challenges… which are often played out in a very public arena. When not effectively addressed, on-court struggles become off-court issues. Sarah’s coaching supports and empowers athletes to build confidence, manage anxiety, perform at the highest level, AND improve their wellbeing. She has experience working with athletes of all ages- from the collegiate level down to ten year-olds.

Sarah also offers coaching for parents of athletes. She helps them develop the mindset and skills that support their children to thrive, both as athletes and human beings
